Aruba Code of Conduct

Dress Code
Nudity and topless sunbathing are not permitted. Please wear appropriate clothing in all public areas, including churches, supermarkets, gas stations, and hotel lobbies.

Parking
Please use designated parking areas only. Do not park on sidewalks. Always lock your vehicle and avoid leaving valuables inside.

Sea Life
Please do not feed any marine animals, including fish and turtles. Avoid picking up starfish—they can only breathe underwater. Use coral-friendly sunscreen whenever possible to help protect our marine ecosystem.

Beaches and Dunes
Beaches and Dunes: Driving or parking on beaches, dunes, or in the ocean is strictly prohibited. ‘Wishing rock’ stacking is not a local tradition and can harm wildlife and the environment. Please dispose of trash properly and avoid barbecuing or starting fires on beaches and dunes. Refrain from using disposable plastic products on the beach. Our Fofoti trees are protected—do not climb them or hang items from their branches. Taking shells or coral is strictly forbidden and may result in a substantial fine.
